A Wealth of Experience
Marty joined Baird in October of 2015, and brings over 30 years of industry experience to his clients. Prior to Baird, he held the position of Head of Business Development in Chicago for GLAS Funds as well as being a member of the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) for 25 years as a broker and trader. At the Chicago Board of Trade, Marty had the honor of being elected into the highly regarded roles of Floor Governor of the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT), member of the Floor Conduct Committee, and Chairman of the Treasury Bond Pit Committee where he lead teams in trading interest rates, policing trade violations, and adjudicating compliance issues. Through his experiences, he has gained extensive knowledge of fixed income, treasuries, and alternative investments.
Marty graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Notre Dame in 1988 with a concentration in ALPA.
Committed to the Community
Marty is very active in his parish and its school, St. Francis Xavier, and Catholic Charities of Chicago. He is a volunteer coach for a wide range of youth sports and a member of the Michigan Shores Club in Wilmette. Marty lives in Wilmette with his wife, Monique, where they raised their three children, Connor, Brendan, and Kelly. In his free time, he enjoys basketball, golf, travel, reading, family, coaching, and volunteering.
